Almond Butter Chocolate Chip cookies!

Today I decided to pull out Chocolate Covered Katie’s cookbook and bake some cookies! I decided to share the recipe with you now. They are gluten, dairy, carb, sugar, and soy free! Also, if you count calories, they are 65 calories a cookie

-WHAT YOU NEED-

1 cup Almond Butter

1/4 cup applesauce

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

3/4 cup xylitol

1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda

pinch salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips

coconut shavings (optional for garnish)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a medium mixing bowl, mix the vanilla, almond butter, and applesauce together until a smooth paste forms.

In a small mixing bowl, mix all other ingredients together.

Pour the dry ingredients into the wet and mix until thoroughly combined.

Roll the dough into little balls and slightly flatten onto the cookie sheet

Put the cookies in the oven, set the timer for 8 minutes, and wait!
